Kuching Sunday Market is the biggest market in Kuching and it located at Medan Niaga Satok. It start operate since 1st January 2013 and previously was at Satok Weekend Market. It has 5 main complexes, farmer products, wet and dry market, plaza and food court. It open throughout the week but during the weekend there are more vendors setting their makeshift stall to sell their products. The best time to go is on Saturday evening and Sunday morning. All sorts of fruits from local, seasonal, imported and exotic fruits or vege can be found here, and it will amaze you. Kuching Sunday Market is not only about fruits but pets, souvenir, plants, traditional snacks, handcrafts and more importantly is their foods! ( Laksa, layer cake, cendol, fried rice with ikan terubok and many more). Getting there, is a 10 minutes drive from Kuching city centre by taxi or e-hailing and by K5, K7 and K71 bus from Kuching old mosque.
